H13 Tool Steel Forging Overview

AISI H13 is a chromium-molybdenum-vanadium hot-work tool steel developed for tooling exposed to elevated temperatures, repeated heating and cooling cycles, mechanical loading and thermal fatigue.

The material combines high-temperature strength, toughness, wear resistance and dimensional stability. It is commonly used for forging dies, extrusion tooling, die-casting dies, mandrels, punches and other heavily loaded hot-work tools.

We supply custom H13 tool steel forgings in the form of blocks, bars, discs, rings and other drawing-based components. Production requirements are reviewed according to dimensions, unit weight, machining allowance, delivery condition, final hardness, testing scope and documentation requirements.
