After high temperature forging and compression deformation, the metal material of the forged shaft has a denser grain structure, thus achieving higher strength and toughness than other processing methods. After quenching and tempering, the tensile strength of 42CrMo4 can reach more than 1080MPa and the yield strength can reach more than 930MPa.
42CrMo4 shaft forgings are alloy steel forgings containing high levels of chromium and molybdenum. 42CrMo4 shaft forgings have the characteristics of high strength, good hardenability, good toughness, and small deformation during quenching.
The strength of 42CrMo4 steel forgings belongs to high-strength alloy steel forgings, with high yield strength and high tensile strength.
After quenching, 42CrMo4 steel has good hardenability and can meet the requirements of cooling rate.
42CrMo4 steel forgings have good toughness, can withstand large impact loads, and are not prone to cracks.
42CrMo4 steel forgings have little deformation during the quenching process and can be used to manufacture parts requiring high dimensional accuracy.
